Our Statement
Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) will prompt us to actively pursue a safe environment within our schools and workplaces for individuals who have been marginalized to feel welcomed, heard, and accepted.
The Importance
It's important to advocate for Asians & Pacific Islanders. AAPI's makes up about 5.3% of our nation's workforce and has been steadily increasing through the last decade. Their ideas and presence have to be valued to retain these individuals and the invaluable resources that they provide to our communities. Doing so begins with creating a safe space.
